Description
Ohel is seeking a full‑time Grants Associate to support the team responsible for Government, Capital, and Foundation grants and contracts. Responsibilities include identifying and coordinating required elements of grant proposals and reports; working collegially with the Supervisor and various department colleagues within Ohel to ensure deliverables are completed and submitted in a timely manner; and project and file management. This individual will work closely with, and report to, Ohel’s Senior Grants Manager.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Ohel staff and Government/Foundation liaisons
- Excellent project, file, and time management skills
- Strong computer skills with Word, Adobe, Excel, project management platforms
- Superior organizational and follow‑through skills
- 2+ years of experience in a position with similar duties
- Experience working in the non‑profit sector; knowledge of government systems and processes a plus
- Professional customer service skills
- High standards of accountability, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Familiarity or proficiency with donor databases (CRMs)
- Proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work effectively independently
This full‑time position is based in Brooklyn.
Salary: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
PreferredHigh School/GED or better.
