Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Clerical
General Duties
- Perform miscellaneous clerical, administrative, research, or other work related to the operation of the college or a unit on a part‑time basis or for a limited duration.
- Maximum tenure: 1,040 hours per year.
- Routine clerical work: answering and attending telephone calls, maintaining records, operating office machines (copier, copy machine), sorting and distributing mail, issuing keys and identity cards, acting as messenger, and performing related tasks as required.
- Type letters, memoranda, charts, and similar materials.
- Act as cashier.
- Assist in statistical or research activities: collect and compile data, code data for computer entry, perform data entry, and run computer reports.
- Perform clerical library work such as sorting and shelving books, entering data into library systems, or binding books and periodicals.
- Assist in instructional programs, including tutoring students in reading, mathematics, speech and hearing therapy, providing musical accompaniment, or distributing and collecting physical education equipment.
- Enter and maintain departmental records such as inventory control records, rosters, directories, and schedules.
- Operate computers, computer software, and other electronic equipment as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications- Demonstrated sufficient skills to perform the duties assigned.
- Functional experience with Microsoft Excel and other standard Office applications.
- Strong organizational and follow‑through skills.
- Customer‑focused with the ability to interact and work cooperatively on a team, serving diverse internal and external constituencies.
Hourly rate: $19.12 to $29.32; commensurate with education and work experience. Part‑time position up to 20 hours per week. Evening hours may be required.
