Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Floor Host to join our Office Services team. In this client-facing role, you will serve as a key point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, clean, and well‑stocked environment across office floors. You'll manage client engagement, pantry upkeep, mail distribution, and assist with new hire setup, moves, and event support.
Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Assistance- Greet clients warmly and assist with inquiries
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for office offerings
- Address and expand client concerns professionally
- Ensure food and beverage items are replenished and presented by 7:30 AM
- Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the day
- Check and report appliance functionality and stock levels
- Conduct morning and afternoon walkthroughs
- Report maintenance issues (lights, stains, damaged furniture)
- Ensure shared spaces, offices, and equipment are in working order
- Flush toilets/urinals twice daily
- Monitor for leaks and stock supplies
- Clean and refresh shower room towels
- Retrieve, sort, and deliver mail across assigned floors
- Scan and track packages as needed
- Resolve paper jams and replenish supplies
- Monitor and report technical issues
- Escort vendors, attend team meetings, and maintain communication via Teams and email
- Deliver and pick up mail between 599 Lexington and 55 E 52nd Street
- Set up or clean workstations
- Coordinate name tags, equipment, and moving logistics
- Coordinate pre‑move and post‑move tasks
- Document locations and ensure all furniture and tech are functional
- Review weekly event needs
- Execute room setups to brand standards
- Report equipment or cleanliness concerns
- Participate in training and development sessions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- A proactive, service‑first mindset
- Ability to lift/move moderate weight and walk frequently throughout the day
