Location: New York

Our client, a fast‑moving fintech company located in Manhattan, is looking for a Temporary Receptionist to join their team. This position may start as soon as June 22nd and will be on-site 5 days per week between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm. Compensation is $36-38/hour Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all visitors, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience from arrival to departure Sort, scan, and route incoming mail and packages; notify employees of deliveries and keep the package area tidy Manage the daily dinner program and send nightly menu communications to employees Coordinate food orders for internal meetings and events Issue visitor badges, verify guest lists, and ensure all visitors are welcomed accompanied by an employee Oversee check-in for external meetings and larger events;

partner with hosts and flag any issues in real time Keep the reception area, waiting space, and front-facing conference rooms clean and guest-ready throughout the day Act as a first point of contact for employee questions and everyday office needs Communicate proactively with the team via Slack for visitor arrivals, package notifications, and general office updates. Effectively manage calendar holds and resolve conflicting meetings Assist with ad-hoc responsibilities relating to the Workplace team

Qualifications:

Approximately 2+ years experience as a receptionist Strong customer service skills Extremely friendly, bubbly, proactive personality Experience in a fast-moving or high-volume environment Comfortable interacting with executives, employees, and constant visitors Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously Prior office manager support a plus Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
