We're a warm, down-to-earth family who split our time between our Brownstone in Harlem (where we live during the week) and a cozy lake house in the Hudson Valley (where we spend most weekends). Between managing hectic work schedules and keeping up with two young children and a sweet senior dog, life moves fast. When we’re not working, we want to be present for the moments with our young family that matter most.
We value kindness, humor, and a sense of calm in everyday chaos. We're looking for someone to help keep us organized and things running smoothly so we can focus less on the never-ending to-do list and more on being the parents and people we want to be. We're collaborative, easygoing, and deeply appreciate someone who treats our home with the same care and respect they'd give their own.
Who You AreYou're a highly organized person who brings a calming, positive energy into any space. You walk into a room, take stock of what needs to happen, and handle it without being asked. You're resourceful and truly enjoy creating order and ease in a home. You enjoy tackling the things that feel heaviest to a busy household: staying on top of organization, managing inventory, keeping daily tidying under control, and handling all those little admin tasks that quietly pile up.
You’re also able to help us at our home in the Hudson Valley (about an hour outside the city), typically monthly.
You have a project manager's mindset: you notice the low pantry stock, the seasonal maintenance that's due, the clutter creeping back in, and you take care of it proactively. You don't just surface problems; you proactively offer solutions. You’re flexible and happy to roll with the punches, taking on tasks big and small with enthusiasm. You are professional and have the emotional intelligence to read the room, knowing when to engage warmly and when to work independently.
You're steady, confident, and solution oriented. You're resourceful and confident enough to handle household issues independently but seek guidance on key decisions. You’re a responsive, thoughtful and proactive communicator.
