Summary
Under general supervision, delivers, picks up and sorts mail for 80 Maiden Lane. Distributes office supplies from the mailroom to staff at 80 Maiden Lane.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Coordinates daily activities of mailroom and support staff.
- Coordinates messenger pick-up and delivery.
- Serves as liaison between agency and courier service provider on delivery related problems.
- Coordinates transportation of all records from Maiden Lane to Bronx Records Retention Center.
- Oversees maintenance of all non‑computer related equipment at Maiden Lane (copiers, fax machine, shredders) and ensures all work is performed, equipment is functional and repair logs are maintained.
- Oversees in‑house maintenance for designated household duties at Maiden Lane (bulb replacement, scheduling carpet cleaning and furniture movement).
- Manages stockroom and supplies at Maiden Lane, including inventory database, periodic inventory review and stock replenishment.
- Opens, sorts, distributes and picks up mail for staff at 80 Maiden Lane.
- Picks up and delivers mail in Manhattan for staff at 80 Maiden Lane.
- Sets up conference rooms for meetings by moving tables and setting up chairs.
- Runs mailroom at 80 Maiden Lane and distributes office supplies to staff.
- Ensures that outgoing mail has proper postage.
- Performs administrative support functions such as filing, photocopying and distribution of memos.
- Provides facility support and office equipment maintenance for 80 Maiden Lane.
- Maintains stockroom inventory and distribution at two locations.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Good interpersonal skills for effective interactions with employees, coworkers, other departments and external contacts.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the position.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to travel around Manhattan using subways.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of prior mailroom experience preferred.
$17.46 hourly + Industry Leading Benefits
