Job Description

This internship provides students an opportunity to work with the Justice Center’s Individual and Family Support program, collaborating with providers and participating in informational conferences.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other providers and attend/participate in both virtual and in person informational conferences to spread awareness of Justice Center and the services provided by Individual and Family Support.
  • Assist staff with creation of case information files and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist with inputting case information and other data entry functions, and track referrals, services, follow-ups, etc., through the Client Management System/Database.
  • Address and respond to stakeholder inquiries via phone and e‑mail as appropriate.
  • Draft correspondence and assist with mailing of such correspondence.
  • Assist with any other identified projects and programs as necessary and relevant to the student intern program’s requirements.
  • Attend relevant team and agency meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain accurate records and carry out duties in a timely manner.
  • Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Have regular supervision meetings with supervisor(s) to review progress and address any concerns and updates.
  • Additional responsibilities include bundling inventory and assembling materials for presentations and trainings, participation in outreach events, and responding to referrals to provide information, referral, and linkage to services and programs based on need.

Telecommuting

Employees are required to apply and obtain approval through management to telecommute according to the Justice Center’s Telecommuting Program Guidelines.

Fingerprinting
