Location: Fort Drum
Service Order Coordinator
Winn Companies is looking for a Service Order Coordinator to join our military housing team at Fort Drum Mountain Community Homes located in Fort Drum, NY. The pay range for this role is $18.73-$19.66 per hour. This position is located at a federal facility and requires a REAL driver's license/ accordance with the REAL , effective May 7, 2025.
Responsibilities- Scheduling and coordination of service order work (internal and contracted).
- Monitor service order schedule to ensure appropriate goals and targets are met.
- Follow-up scheduling such as parts hold, subcontract scheduling, etc.
- Reschedule missed appointments, handle after-hour calls, and process work orders.
- Monitor radio (when present).
- Complete preventative maintenance work orders and internal work order processing, including pest control work orders.
- Utilize the YARDI database to manage the service process.
- Implement new and revised maintenance policies and information.
- Provide support to technicians and supervisors for service order functions.
- Assist with employee timesheets (temp timesheet support, techs without mobile devices, etc.).
- Support technicians/supervisors for “day-off” work order handling and rescheduling.
- Provide mobile device assistance and assist supervisors.
- Ensure work orders are coded and classified correctly; verify labor and parts entries on all work orders.
- Reconcile service hours in Yardi.
- Maintain the schedule for team changes.
- Modify the schedule settings based on ATO, sick time, team meetings, training, and ensure technician skill sets are accurate and current.
- Maintain on‑call schedule and site information for dispatch team to use.
- Serve as primary liaison between the site and the dispatch team for smooth communication and operations.
- Monitor and address open work orders using the open WO analysis report daily.
- Provide the DOM and maintenance managers with informational resources for informed daily decision making.
- Make recommendations for solutions and ensure they are implemented by appropriate staff.
- Review reports to spot inaccuracies, trends, and ensure daily project goals are met.
- Monitor data integrity, assist staff with corrections, and identify steps to avoid future errors.
- Generate or receive service order contracted purchase orders when needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1‑3 years of relevant work experience.
- A current driver’s license in good standing and the ability to meet the driving record standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
- Advanced skillset with computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
