OverviewProvide top‑notch administrative and project assistance to the Chief Compliance Officer and support compliance teams on a variety of administrative and project management tasks. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with an impactful leader and team on strategically important initiatives.
Responsibilities- Organize, schedule, and prioritize daily activities for the executive team.
- Interact with management at all levels, including executive level.
- Manage systems reporting, monitoring, invoicing, and data entry for compliance teams.
- Assist in the Corporate Compliance Training process.
- Manage email boxes for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring appropriate routing and follow‑up.
- Maintain distribution lists and intranet pages.
- Maintain and update critical documents in various systems.
- Coordinate project reporting, planning, and compliance initiatives.
- Handle IT requests: monitor system and application updates, arrange help desk support, and manage related tasks.
- Anticipate needs, organize and maintain business calendars, prioritize shifting schedules, and manage domestic and international travel.
- Support onboarding of new hires.
- Provide ad hoc support for compliance projects, including basic research of public or internal resources.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a large, multi‑national environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with management at all levels and across departments.
- Skilled at managing complex calendars and coordinating domestic and international travel.
- Self‑starter who is highly proactive and self‑disciplined.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good judgment and tact in confidential situations.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
- Discretion, professional demeanor, and independent judgment, especially under pressure.
- Strategic thinking to keep the senior executive on track.
- Tech savvy, able to problem‑solve and support executives and the team.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Concur, Ariba, SharePoint, and Fieldglass.
Base salary range in NYC: $84,000 – $92,000. Eligible for a bonus per the applicable incentive plan. Benefits include health care, savings plans, and flexibility for personal, family, and military leave. AIG also offers tuition reimbursement and learning opportunities.
