About Waylin Partners
Waylin is a full-service Office of the CFO advisory firm built exclusively for private equity portfolio companies. We deploy cross‑functional finance and data professionals directly inside portfolio companies – building FP&A functions, architecting data infrastructure, deploying AI‑powered workflows, and leading technical accounting engagements that create measurable enterprise value. From Day 1 post‑acquisition through exit, we deliver the visibility and process PE ownership demands.
The RoleWe’re hiring an Executive Assistant to support our three founding Partners. You’ll be the operational backbone of their day – protecting their time, managing the flow of information across their inboxes and calendars, and keeping client and internal commitments running on schedule. This is a high‑trust role for someone who has supported senior executives in a professional services or PE environment and knows how to anticipate needs before they’re voiced.
WhatYou’ll Own
- Inbox management and triage. Monitor Partner inboxes, surface what needs attention, flag time‑sensitive items, draft and route responses, and make sure nothing important slips through.
- Scheduling. Own the calendars across all three Partners – candidate interviews, client calls, internal meetings, and standing commitments – resolving conflicts and protecting focus time.
- Travel coordination. Plan and book travel for client engagements, internal meetings, and conferences, including flights, lodging, ground transport, and detailed itineraries; handle changes in real time.
- Meeting preparation. Assemble agendas, briefing materials, and supporting documents so Partners walk into meetings prepared.
- Day‑to‑day support. Support for the operational tasks that keep three busy Partners moving.
- Prior experience supporting executive schedules in a similar fast‑paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders and competing priorities without losing the thread.
- Strong written communication and sound judgment about what rises to a Partner’s attention.
- Meticulous organization and follow‑through; comfortable owning details end to end.
- Discretion with confidential client and internal information.
- Fluency with calendar, email, and travel tools, and the adaptability to pick up new systems quickly.
- Experience in or around private equity or with PE‑backed portfolio companies.
- Background supporting more than one executive at a time.
