ABOUT RAZOM OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Razom is seeking a dedicated, organized, and mission-driven associate to join the Advancement team and help in the creation and implementation of strategies that ensure sustainability and organizational growth. This role supports Advancement operations including project management; engagement with internal and external stakeholders; supporting special events; assisting with platforms related to communications and donor relations; coordinating gift processing and stewardship; and managing inventory and materials.
The ideal candidate is a people person with excellent communication skills, strong organizational and analytical abilities, and comfort solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
Chief Advancement Officer; this role is a partner to multiple functions across the department like Donor Stewardship, Operations, and Events.
RESPONSIBILITIES ADVANCEMENT OPERATIONS- Maintain organized systems for calendars, deadlines, templates, standard operating procedures, and shared resources to improve team consistency and efficiency.
- Produce routine reports and lists (e.g., acknowledgement status, event RSVP summaries, stewardship activity).
- Coordinate donor acknowledgement and recognition processes, including receipts, gift thank-you letters, and stewardship touchpoints. Ensuring timely acknowledgement and accurate recording.
- Assist with donor reporting preparation by gathering information, formatting content, and tracking timelines to completion.
- Track and support the integrity of our database, ensuring each constituent’s story and connection to Razom is carefully recorded. Maintain accuracy of contact information, communication preferences, relationships, and engagement history.
- Triage/manage donations, support razom, and razom news inboxes.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the Major Giving program, including scheduling, brief preparation, and follow-up tracking.
- Assist with prospect and donor research support as needed, including compiling background information and summarizing engagement history.
- Help keep the donor pipeline organized by supporting updates to moves management records, contact reports, and task reminders in the CRM.
- Support planning and execution of fundraising and donor engagement events (virtual and in-person), including timelines, run‑of‑show, guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, seating, and day‑of logistics.
- Coordinate event communications that inspire participation, including follow‑up, reminders, confirmations, thank‑yous, and post‑event notes.
- Assist with vendor coordination, venue logistics, catering, A/V, materials, and internal stakeholders to support smooth event delivery.
- Help create a warm environment that encourages philanthropy.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in development/advancement, nonprofit operations, event coordination, administration, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
- An optimistic and proactive problem‑solver who enjoys working both collaboratively as part of a team, and independently as a project owner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort drafting donor‑facing messages, and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Experience working with databases/CRMs and project management software (e.g., Asana) is a plus.
- Proficiency of Ukrainian language/knowledge of Ukrainian audiences is a plus.

SALARY RANGE$58, annually. This role is non‑exempt and eligible for overtime pay.
