Overview

RTW Investments is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join a high-performing team and provide seamless administrative and operational support across one or more senior leaders or divisions. This is a high-trust, collaborative role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates with exceptional judgment and discretion, and takes genuine ownership of team-wide priorities and workflows.

The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver with strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to operational excellence. The role offers a meaningful opportunity to become an integral contributor to RTW’s broader organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted operational partner to one or more senior leaders, exercising sound judgment in managing priorities, coordinating across stakeholders, and ensuring the team operates efficiently
  • Own and manage a complex, high-volume calendar – proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts, competing priorities, and trade-offs with minimal direction
  • Manage complex domestic and international travel (commercial and private), including detailed itineraries, logistics, and visa coordination
  • Serve as a central coordination point across internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and timely follow-through on action items
  • Prepare, maintain, and organize high-quality meeting materials – particularly in PowerPoint and the MS Office Suite – to support decision-making and key business events
  • Process expense reports and manage administrative workflows with accuracy and efficiency, utilizing tools such as Concur
  • Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of supported leaders and the team with professionalism, discretion, and good judgment; respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Support planning and execution of key business events including investor meetings, team dinners, and internal events; collaborate with the broader administrative team to ensure operational consistency
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the team’s priorities, key relationships, and upcoming commitments to enable effective preparation and proactive support
  • Take on ad hoc projects as directed; the scope of the role may evolve to reflect the broader needs of the team and organization
  • The listed responsibilities are not comprehensive, and additional tasks may be assigned as required
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders, teams, or cross-functional groups in a hedge fund, private equity, or similarly demanding institutional environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; experience with expense management tools (e.g., Concur)
  • Extensive experience managing complex international travel, including visa coordination
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities; confidence interacting with senior stakeholders and external partners
  • Ability to anticipate needs, think several steps ahead, and act proactively with minimal direction; high degree of discretion and composure under pressure
  • Comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders simultaneously, balancing competing priorities with poise and professionalism
  • Must be able to work from our New York City office 4-5 days per week

The base salary for this New York-based position ranges from $135,000 to $175,000, depending on experience, skills, and responsibilities. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and the level at which the role is hired. In addition to the base salary, the role includes a discretionary incentive compensation program, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and life insurance, retirement plans, tax-free savings options, and access to additional healthcare programs.
