Position OverviewThe Pediatric Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and families, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role is responsible for managing the front office, supporting scheduling and administrative functions, and ensuring a smooth flow throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and families with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule to optimize patient flow
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist with patient needs
- Verify insurance eligibility and update patient information
- Collect payments, co-pays, and balances
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth transitions between front and back office
- Manage appointment confirmations and follow-ups
- Support overall office organization and cleanliness of the front area
This will be a front desk and Ortho assistant Floater position.
Qualifications- Prior dental or medical front office experience preferred (pediatric experience a plus)
- Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of insurance verification and scheduling preferred
- High attention to detail and organization
- Friendly, outgoing, and patient-focused personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy environment
$24 - $29 biweekly
