Administrative Volunteer Needed in Chelsea Court
Services for the Under Served (S:US) is a non‑profit organization that believes that every New Yorker deserves to knowhomein NYC. S:
US works with communities and individuals in every corner of the city and on Long Island to make sure every New Yorker has the chance to findhome. Becausehome is more than a roof. Home is stability, safety, community, and a sense of belonging. And the opportunity to findhome is the right of every New Yorker.
Chelsea Court is an 18‑studio apartment building with residents referred by HRA or DHS. They meet monthly with a caseworker to receive specialized help as needed. Volunteers will be helping with inputting clinical notes and other paperwork into online databases. Once a month they would also be taking the minutes for the monthly tenant meetings. Periodically the volunteer may also be joining the assistant program director at block meetings to take minutes and to learn more about the neighborhood.
They may be filing and sorting paperwork as needed.

- Comfortable around people with mental health diagnoses
- EHR experience, preferred but not required
- Age minimum 18 (adult)
- English proficiency
- Must undergo background check and fingerprinting
