Purchasing Assistant
- Brooklyn, NY
Seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support the Purchasing Manager in a busy office Direct Care Support environment. This is a possible temp-to-hire opportunity located in Brooklyn.
ScheduleMonday
- Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
$27.50 - $30.22/hour
Responsibilities- Daily placement of orders for food, cleaning products, and office supplies
- Maintain and update spreadsheets and purchasing records
- Assist with administrative support for the purchasing department
- Track orders, inventory, and vendor communications
- Ensure accuracy with data entry and order processing
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Previous purchasing, inventory, or office support experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and reliability
