This position requires a work schedule of 11am - 7pm Monday through Thursday and 9am – 5pm on Fridays.
NYC EAP Office Assistant Responsibilities- Reception
- Answering calls, handling messages, receiving visiting clients.
- Promoting a respectful, caring environment for all clients and collateral guests/callers.
- Clerical Duties
- Chart maintenance
- Copying, faxing, filing, scanning
- Scheduling
- Coordinating staff’s calendars
- Scheduling client sessions, meetings, training, etc.
- Reporting
- Maintaining a daily screening/consultation log to record all contacts
- Generating monthly reports that specify EAP services (intakes, onsite groups, presentations, supervisor consults).
- Managing clerical responsibilities for GHI authorization cases.
- Management of supplies and inventory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Previous Office Experience
- General, Scheduling, Telephone Skills, Typing, Documentation Skills, Meeting Planning, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Administrative Writing Skills

Residency RequirementNew York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County. To determine if the residency requirement applies to you, please discuss with the agency representative at the time of interview.
