This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role based in New York, NY. The Front Desk Receptionist will greet visitors and clients, manage the reception area, and ensure all guests are welcomed and directed appropriately. Daily responsibilities include answering and routing phone calls, handling incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling and confirming appointments, and maintaining visitor logs. The role also involves performing clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and basic administrative support for attorneys and staff.
The Front Desk Receptionist will coordinate with internal teams to support office operations, ensure professional communication at all times, and help maintain a tidy, organized front office.
- Strong receptionist and front desk skills, including Receptionist Duties and managing a busy lobby or waiting area.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for handling calls, messages, and client interactions with clarity and courtesy.
- Clerical Skills such as filing, data entry, document organization, and basic office software proficiency (e.g., MS Office, email, calendars).
- Customer Service experience with a focus on client-facing roles, problem-solving, and creating a positive visitor experience.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, especially when handling sensitive client and legal information.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site full time in a professional office setting.
- Prior experience in a law firm, healthcare, or professional services environment is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred. Fluency in Russian language is a plus.
