Data Entry Specialist – Timekeeping

Location:

Elma, NY 14059 Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension) 1st Shift

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support timekeeping and attendance administration. This role is responsible for entering, reviewing, and maintaining employee time records, ensuring payroll data accuracy, and resolving timekeeping discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain employee leave balances and attendance records
• Review timekeeping data for accuracy and completeness
• Resolve time entry discrepancies with employees, supervisors, and HR/payroll teams
• Generate timekeeping and attendance reports
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information
• Follow established procedures and support process improvements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of data entry, payroll, or timekeeping experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Experience with timekeeping/payroll systems such as Workday, Kronos, or ADP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Basic payroll knowledge is a plus
