Records Management Specialist III

- Provides technical support for records management programs, dockets, records center, or other information services under the supervision of a Records Information Manager.
- Assists in planning and program development, analysis of records or docket management problems, and design of strategies to meet ongoing records or docket management needs.
- Specific technical duties may vary according to the needs of the work site and include response to inquiries; collection maintenance and retrieval tasks; metadata review and input; equipment maintenance; and use of automated information systems such as the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS).
- At Level III, the personnel must have at least three (3) years of records management experience.
- Experience with at least one automated information system is required.
- A college degree is preferred but not required.
