Administrative Assistant

Position: Full-time salaried Administrative Assistant for a private, not-for-profit school for children with special needs located in Seaford, New York.

• $21 per hour
• Monday through Friday 9 am to 3 pm (30 hours per week)
• 12-month position:
• 12-month School Calendar (includes 6-week summer school session plus 10 additional days during the breaks)

Job Summary/Requirements:

• Position requires excellent organizational skills. Candidate must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills required
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Associates Degree or higher preferred
• Initial medical exam required prior to beginning employment
