Location: New York

The Green Vale School seeks an Admissions Associate who will be an enthusiastic and collaborative member of the Green Vale community beginning July 1, 2026.

Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, the Admissions Associate participates as a member of the Advancement team in all aspects of the admission process. This is an in-person, on-campus position. Please submit a cover letter with your application.

The Green Vale School is a co-educational, independent day school (PN–8) located on a beautiful 40-acre campus on the North Shore of Long Island. Approximately 25 miles from New York City, Green Vale has served families in surrounding suburban communities for over 100 years. Family

Experience & Admissions Engagement
  • Greet all guests and create a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, parents, and visitors.
  • Execute all family communications and interactions with a 'white glove' service mindset, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the school’s high standards of care and professionalism.
  • Monitor and respond to all online inquiries and requests for information via phone and email in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Lead campus tours for prospective families.
  • Help prepare and process all applicants’ decision letters, packages, emails, and enrollment contracts.
  • Conduct parent interviews and assess alignment with the school community and academic environment.
Operations & Logistics Coordination
  • Coordinate and schedule school tours, parent meetings, student assessments, and classroom visits.
  • Coordinate the logistics and materials for student assessments, ensuring all evaluators have the necessary documentation and data to make informed admissions decisions.
  • Assist with organizing and planning activities and special events for prospective and admitted families, such as Open Houses, information sessions, and receptions.
  • Assist in planning Admissions, Marketing, and Communications initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the Admission Committee, Division Heads, faculty, and staff throughout the admission process.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of admissions and community events, including Open House, New Student Orientation, and grade‑wide social events.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for all inquiries and prospective and enrolled families.
  • Collect and organize internal data points to support the retention risk analysis.
  • Assist the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management in analyzing and interpreting internal data related to recruitment, admission cycles, and student retention.
  • Support the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management in monitoring and reporting on industry trends and local and regional market conditions.
Administrative & Technical Support
  • Serves as a resource to current and potential families, assisting with online application and enrollment processes.
  • Proactively identify and report gaps or inefficiencies in the CRM and admissions platforms to the Director to help streamline the admissions/application process.
Education and Experience
  • Three to five years of experience in admissions, marketing, or executive-level administrative support.
  • A proven track record in delivering “white glove” service, managing complex projects, and maintaining high‑touch client relations.
  • Experience maintaining database integrity (CRM) and a demonstrated ability to organize data into clear, actionable reports.
  • Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact warmly and confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Hyper detail‑oriented with superior organizational skills.
  • Expertise working with various technology platforms, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google applications, Zoom, and a leading database/CRM system.
  • Working knowledge of admission‑based platforms, Ravenna, School Admin, Blackbaud, Finalsite, or Hub Spot, is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Enthusiasm for working with young children and their parents.
Compensation
  • The salary will be commensurate with experience; the range is $65,000 -$80,000.
