This position is hybrid and based out of our New York City office reporting to the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.
MajorDuties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute 5-10 live events per year with attendees ranging from 50-200, responsibilities to include:
- Source venues and vendors
- Negotiate contracts
- Prepare BEOs and order appropriate AV
- Order signage, supplies, prepare Power Points
- Work with committees and volunteers
- Proof marketing materials
- Monitor expenses; review and submit invoices, reconcile budget
- Prepare and assemble badges
- Provide on‑site support at larger conferences ranging from 1, attendees as needed
- Manage general team operations such as updating calendars and processing credit card authorizations
- Provide general administrative support to VP and Senior Manager as needed
- Plans and Aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organization goals

- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
- Up to 2 years professional experience planning in‑person, small‑scale events and providing administrative support for events and conferences preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
