Location: New York

This position is hybrid and based out of our New York City office reporting to the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.

Major

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute 5-10 live events per year with attendees ranging from 50-200, responsibilities to include:
  • Source venues and vendors
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Prepare BEOs and order appropriate AV
  • Order signage, supplies, prepare Power Points
  • Work with committees and volunteers
  • Proof marketing materials
  • Monitor expenses; review and submit invoices, reconcile budget
  • Prepare and assemble badges
  • Provide on‑site support at larger conferences ranging from 1, attendees as needed
  • Manage general team operations such as updating calendars and processing credit card authorizations
  • Provide general administrative support to VP and Senior Manager as needed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
  • Up to 2 years professional experience planning in‑person, small‑scale events and providing administrative support for events and conferences preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
