Location: New York

Our client, a storied NYC law firm, is seeking a Conference Center Coordinator to serve as the initial point of contact for all clients or guests. The position is based 5 days a week at their lovely office in Midtown, Manhattan.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests/clients in a welcoming manner and ensure their needs are proactively and properly tended to.
  • Respond to requests with high-level client service support and assist with administrative needs.
  • Review reports and requests throughout the day; document and follow up on all changes as needed.
  • Manage conference room activity via communication with department management.
  • Organize and communicate special needs to the appropriate team members.
  • Handle interactions with hosts requesting conference rooms when none are available.
  • Address issues involving partners, clients, or guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of reception and/or conference service experience in a legal or professional services environment.
  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience with conference room booking software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Rendezvous, or similar room reservation systems.
  • Customer-service oriented with a sense of urgency to complete requests.
  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, analyze, and problem-solve quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong listening and questioning abilities.
  • Pay Rate: $29 - $30 per hour based on experience.
