Enrollment Registrar Coordinator
Queensborough Community College invites applications for the position of Enrollment Registrar Coordinator.
POSITION DETAILSReporting to the Associate Registrar, the Enrollment Registrar Coordinator will perform the following duties:
- Review student records to determine if students have met graduation requirements in degree and certificate programs
- Respond to inquiries and process requests sent to the general Graduation Audit email; communicate with students and advisors via email and phone regarding outstanding degree requirements
- Assist with creating and maintaining requirements (scribing) in Degree Works, the online advisement tool
- Process graduation waivers, substitutions and degree exceptions
- Assist with updating graduation statuses for students in batch
- Assist with duplicate and batch diploma orders through Parchment system
- Assist with post enrollment requisite check (PERC) processing
- Assist with processing change of curriculum/major requests
- Assist with reviewing records for repeated courses and adjusting records appropriately
- Provide front desk support, assisting students, faculty, and staff with exceptional customer service
- Update student data in CUNYfirst; assist with resolution of student records and graduation issues
- Generate queries in CUNYfirst and/or Degree Works
- May assist with the supervision and training of clerical and part-time staff
- This position may require work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Bachelor's Degree required.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with People Soft Campus Solutions (CUNYfirst Preferred)
- Registrar’s Office experience
- Experience with graduation auditing and using Degree Works
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to function well under pressure
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to establish and foster collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, and students
Provides operational support for registration operations.
- Provides advice on academic and administrative registration requirements
- Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures
- Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas
- Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories
- Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquiries and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems
- May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases
- May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials
- Performs related duties as assigned.
