Overview
Competitive salary up to $80,000 based on experience plus managerial opportunity. Gendelberg Law is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our immigration law firm, dedicated primarily to affirmative and defensive asylum representation. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, exceptional organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the initiative to anticipate needs, solve problems, and prioritize daily responsibilities. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and possess the ability to take ownership of projects while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and management.
- Answer and direct telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and consultations.
- Prepare, organize, scan, and maintain physical and electronic files.
- Draft correspondence, letters, and other administrative documents.
- Monitor emails and assist with client communications.
- Coordinate office operations and assist with special projects.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
- Previous administrative assistant, executive assistant, office assistant, or similar experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and general computer applications.
- Professional demeanor with outstanding customer service skills.
- Experience in an immigration law firm or fluency in a foreign language is a plus, but not required.
This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Hybrid or remote work is not available.
