Currently recruiting for a Temporary- to
-Potential Direct Hire Special Events Specialist who will assist in fundraising and event planning, as well as providing administrative support to the Development team. Please be energetic, outgoing, and organized and have excellent MS Office skills. You will be assisting in coordinating events, interfacing with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and vendors. Responsible for tracking catering, supplies, and invoices and overseeing event literature.
Interfacing with high profile guest speakers.
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Experience in fundraising or events, preferably in Academia, or non-profit. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, understand how to prioritize workload, and be detailed-oriented in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: able to maintain Excel Spreadsheets and create Mail Merges in Microsoft Word.
