Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a Part‑time Nursing Office Manager to join our team. Our 258‑bed facility is known throughout the Hudson Valley for excellence in subacute and long‑term care.
The Nursing Office Manager oversees administrative operations within the Nursing Department, provides scheduling and office support, maintains medical records compliance, and ensures timely state and federal data submissions. This role also serves as backup for key nursing administrative positions.

- Supervise Medical Records staff and Unit Coordinators/Clerks.
- Ensure nursing licenses and certifications remain current and process related documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between physicians and nursing staff.
- Prepare and maintain policies, procedures, reports, audits, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
- Oversee medical records compliance and accurate submission of regulatory data.
- Manage staff COVID‑19 testing records and reporting requirements.
- Utilize computer systems to create reports, forms, purchase requisitions, and other departmental documents.
- Provide backup support for nursing scheduling, staffing coordination, and resident appointment management.
- Coordinate resident appointments and assist with transportation when needed.
- Maintain inventory and ordering of nursing uniforms and departmental office supplies.
- Handle office communications, including phone calls, faxes, filing, and document distribution.
- Monitor audit findings and assist with corrective actions.
- Support resident safety, engagement, and quality of care initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and reporting requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform detailed office and administrative work requiring sustained focus and attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills and manual dexterity for data entry, documentation, and office equipment use.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the facility as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Administrative or clerical experience in a healthcare setting required; long‑term care experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare documentation systems preferred.
