We are seeking enthusiastic and service‑oriented individuals for an entry‑level position.
OFFICE LOCATIONOntario, CA (In‑office)
PRIMARY PURPOSETo provide support to the claims staff and to perform other office tasks depending on the client program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES- Set up and enter new claims into the claims management system.
- Input and review notes/diaries in claims management system as instructed.
- Process payments.
- Process mail; handle filing, faxing, and photocopying.
- Review, prepare, create, and/or send letters, reports, and forms.
- Answer and initiate telephone calls, set up medical appointments, and may provide customer service as required.
- Other activities/projects as assigned, including the preparation and distribution of computer reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support the organization’s quality program(s).
High school diploma or GED required.
ExperienceSix (6) months of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Skills & Knowledge- Excellent oral and written communication.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.

Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle work‑related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.
Physical:
Computer keyboarding, travel as required.

Hearing, vision and talking.

Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $18.00-$22.00/hour.
