Position Summary

Joining our Supply Chain Department
, the Business Center Associate is responsible for the processing of internal and external mail and fax communications, including providing support to all departments requesting large printing and laminating services.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in mailing/mailroom, business center, warehouse processing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and established office skills including scanning, faxing, printing, and data entry.
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
Primary Duties
  • Process incoming mail as per the Mail Services Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure outgoing mail requiring regular postage is prepared and ready for pick up by the mail courier service.
  • Prepares special handling mail such as certified mail and express mail and delivers to post office.
  • Provide sender the information of certified mail with special handling for future follow up.
  • Ensure services provided through the Business Center are processed in a timely manner with the appropriate
  • Ensure incoming faxes are distributed to the appropriate site/department or associate
  • Maintain the mail service vehicle and equipment in the Business Center.
  • Manage the mail supply inventory.
  • Maintain a pleasant and helpful attitude and ensure a clean and hazard free work environment.
  • Supports general administrative needs within the warehouse/supply chain department.
Starting Compensation

Minimum $20.00 per hour;
Maximum $20.00 per hour

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule

This is a fully onsite role based in the Bronx, NY requiring a commitment of Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
