Location: Latham

Regional Coordinator – Part-Time

Job Location: Albany, New York

Type: Part-time (28 hours)

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)

Travel Expectations: Domestic travel of up to 18 days annually; potentially two weeks during OCC processing season (mid-November to mid-December)

Salary Range: $21.86 - $27.32 per hour

  • Maintain personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Oversee all of the OCC volunteer and collection network data for the Northeast region
  • Develop expertise with the internal volunteer website and support volunteers as needed
  • Coordinate the timely submission of collection center closure packets
  • Participate in recruiting, selecting, training, developing, and leading of administrative associates and office volunteers
  • Compose and distribute official communication and mailings on behalf of the Regional Office
  • Provide administrative support for local and regional events and attend as needed
  • Play an essential role in achievement of annual Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift and volunteer participation goals
  • Contribute to the strategic planning for the Northeast region and serve on a field committee
  • Provide superior customer service by answering phone and email inquiries
  • Maintain and manage office supplies, equipment, and materials
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from university or college and two (2) to four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including:
    Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident multi-tasker
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (Samaritan's Purse will provide the opportunity to complete the requirement post-hire.)
