OverviewThis position supports Leerink’s Co‑President, Global Co‑Head of Investment Banking, focusing on biopharma growth strategy. The role requires a proven track record providing critical, wide‑range support to senior executives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Act as liaison with external and internal clients on behalf of the executive.
- Serve as a professional, solutions‑oriented extension, demonstrating excellent client service skills.
- Establish strong connective tissue between the executive, clients, and the Biopharma Investment Banking team.
- Understand and anticipate the executive’s key deliverables, proactively supporting needed materials and preparation.
- Manage corporate calendar, meetings and travel, resolving conflicts and providing meeting details.
- Coordinate conference rooms, resources and corporate travel including flights, hotels, car service, restaurant reservations and itinerary.
- Maintain constantly changing calendar and handle last‑minute changes.
- Provide off‑hour coverage, responding to emails and resolving conflicts.
- Support other executive assistants and contribute to the broader Investment Banking administrative team.
- Escalate challenges to the executive and/or manager as appropriate, maintaining a solution focus.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent with 5+ years in a direct administrative support role to senior executives.
- Financial industry experience preferred.
- Advanced MS Office skills – Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of expense processing technology (e.g., Concur, Databasics).
- Integrity, discretion, and exemplary judgment.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the company.
- Capacity for fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment with superior time management and prioritization.
- Willingness to take on additional work beyond direct responsibilities.
