Our New York office is the hub for our US team. We're looking for someone who will make it a place people genuinely enjoy working from every day.

The Role:

We're looking for an exceptional Office Manager to own the employee experience and day-to-day operations of our New York office.

This isn't a traditional administrative role. You'll be responsible for creating an office that is organized, welcoming, high-energy, and held to a high standard. You'll ensure the office operates like a well-run machine while building a culture that brings people together.

You'll own the day-to-day experience for a growing New York office and help build the operational foundation as we continue to scale.

You'll spend roughly:

50% on office operations and administration

50% on culture, employee experience, and community building

If something affects the day-to-day experience of working in the office, it's probably yours.

We don't believe in "that's not my job." If something can improve the office or employee experience, we expect you to take ownership..

What You'll Own:

Office Operations

  • Own the day-to-day running of the New York office.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workplace.
  • Manage office vendors, supplies, maintenance, deliveries, and facilities.
  • Ensure meeting rooms and common areas are always presentable.
  • Coordinate office repairs and improvements.
  • Manage office budgets and recurring operational expenses.
  • Own workplace safety and ensure office policies are followed.
  • Be the first point of contact for office-related issues and resolve them quickly.

Culture & Employee Experience

  • Create an office environment that people enjoy coming to every day.
  • Plan team lunches, celebrations, happy hours, offsites, and company events.
  • Welcome new hires and create an exceptional onboarding experience.
  • Drive engagement initiatives and traditions that strengthen the team.
  • Gather employee feedback and continuously improve the office experience.
  • Celebrate milestones, birthdays, work anniversaries, and company wins.
  • Provide light administrative and operational support to the Chief of Staff and leadership team as needed.
  • Coordinate visitors, leadership meetings, and office logistics.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that improve how the company operates.

Office Standards

  • Help maintain a respectful, professional, and inclusive workplace.
  • Ensure shared spaces are cared for and company policies are followed.
  • Address day-to-day workplace issues with confidence, tact, and professionalism.
  • Build a culture of accountability where everyone takes pride in the office environment.

What We're Looking For

  • 4–8 years of experience in Office Management, Workplace Experience, People Operations, Hospitality, or Operations.
  • Experience managing an office of 20–100+ employees is preferred.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Naturally proactive—you notice problems before others do.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable having difficult conversations while remaining professional, respectful, and fair.
  • Excellent judgment and a high sense of ownership.
  • Someone who enjoys creating great experiences for others.
  • A positive, energetic presence who leads by example and takes pride in creating a workplace that reflects our culture.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a startup or high-growth company.
  • Experience planning company events and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Vendor management and facilities management experience.
  • Basic budgeting and procurement experience.

Within your first few months, you will have:
