Project Administrator
Full Time Jericho, NY, US
Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Director of Innovation and Commercialization
Position Summary: The Project Coordinator/Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the successful execution of cross‑functional projects from concept to completion. This role serves as a central point of communication among internal departments to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with company objectives in the food manufacturing space.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with coordinating project activities and timelines.
- Maintain project schedules and track key milestones.
- Monitor project tasks and follow up with team members regarding deadlines.
- Support project managers with day‑to‑day project administration.
- Assist in identifying and communicating project issues or delays.
- Schedule meetings and prepare agendas.
- Document meeting notes and track action items.
- Communicate project updates to team members.
- Coordinate activities between departments, vendors, suppliers and external partners.
- Maintain project files, reports, and related documentation.
- Prepare status reports and project updates.
- Track project expenses and assist with budget reporting.
- Ensure documentation is organized, accurate, and up to date.
- Assist with purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documentation.
- Support contract and document management activities.
- Perform other project‑related administrative duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of project coordination, administrative, operations, manufacturing, or related experience. Food experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work on‑site in Long Island, NY, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
