Surgical Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to Omni Eye Services locations as needed
• Schedule appointments for all physicians
• Complete the Check In process for assigned surgeon
• Create and maintain surgical folders
• Collect payment and send receipts to staff
• Retrieve messages and update documentation for patient inquiries
• Verify surgical benefits and contact patients regarding copayments
• Maintain office supplies and work area

• Must have experience in scheduling and patient management
• Knowledge of COVID guidelines
• Experience with billing and coding processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Demonstrates expertise in scheduling, patient management, and billing processes while ensuring compliance with COVID guidelines. Proficient in maintaining organized documentation and managing office supplies effectively.
