About

The Role

The Administrative Assistant at Accent Care plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our Brooklyn office. This full-time, office-based position requires a detail-oriented professional who excels in managing administrative tasks, coordinating communication, and ensuring seamless office functioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clerical duties, proficiency in relevant software, and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

This role involves handling incoming calls, managing documents, supporting report generation, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with legal and organizational standards. The Administrative Assistant contributes directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our team, enabling us to deliver exceptional care to our clients. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, a standard Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturday hours, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive work environment.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in general clerical duties
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required
Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently and professionally
  • Maintain a working knowledge of EVV processes to support office teams as a secondary EVV resource
  • Prepare, manage, and distribute documents used for client and Care Partner support and oversight
  • Assist in generating key reports for departmental use
  • Handle and protect confidential information in compliance with legal and organizational standards
  • Ensure adherence to applicable policies, including HIPAA, Code of Conduct, and Documentation Standards
  • Support the department with various administrative tasks as needed
  • Contribute to a positive team environment aligned with Accent Care's mission and values
