Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $80,000–$90,000 based on experience

Join Our Team as an Admissions Coordinator!

Atrium Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have nursing home admissions experience and strong communication skills to help coordinate referrals, facilitate admissions, and provide excellent service to residents and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily referral logs and communicate bed availability with the admissions team and Administrator.

  • Coordinate the admissions process from referral through resident arrival.

  • Obtain and verify insurance information and communicate approvals promptly.

  • Complete admission paperwork and ensure all required documentation is obtained.

  • Explain admission procedures, room rates, billing information, and resident policies to families.

  • Conduct facility tours and assist potential residents and families throughout the admissions process.

  • Maintain accurate admissions records and filing systems.

  • Communicate admission details with nursing and other departments to ensure resident readiness.

  • Assist with Medicare/Medicaid and managed care requirements.

  • Address resident and family concerns professionally while following facility procedures.

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and all applicable healthcare requirements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 2 years of admissions experience in a skilled nursing facility required
    .

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, data entry systems, and Cigma.

  • Ability to type and maintain accurate documentation.
