NY Internship Fall 2026

Overview

Stewart Talent New York is offering a part‑time internship that provides an amazing opportunity to learn about the entertainment industry from a thriving talent agency in New York City. Interns will work directly with assistants and agents on a variety of projects, including Broadway, off‑Broadway, TV/Film, commercials, voiceovers, print/lifestyle, and literary. The office operates on a hybrid schedule; remote interns must spend at least one day a week in person.

Position: part‑time internship (minimum 4 months), starting as early as August 20 th and running through the end of December, school‑schedules permitting.

Hours:

9:30 am–6:30 pm Eastern Time. We seek interns who can commit to at least three full days per week. This internship is regarded as a serious position with a high level of responsibility and potential for advancement within the company.

• Updating client materials
• Creating reels
• Updating the Stewart Talent website
• Editing auditions and self‑tapes
• Data entry
• Answering phones
• Internet research
• Copying and running errands
• General office maintenance
• Inputting appointments, editing self‑tapes, inputting Pin dates in the client calendar for specific projects
• Exporting pitches, viewing appointments with applicable materials (sides/script)
• Submitting via appropriate platforms (Eco Cast, Drop Box, Vimeo, Cast It)
• Updating calendars with client avails
• Tracking casting notifications on trade websites (e.g., Deadline)

• Previous office administrative experience
• Attention to detail
• Professional and pleasant demeanor
• Basic computer skills

• Ability to receive school credit for internship
• Affinity with social media across platforms

• Cell phone
• Functional computer with reliable high‑speed internet access
• Ability to download software, apps, files
• Some video editing software

This position works with all departments and offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about the agency side of the business. Interns will learn how to use various entertainment resources such as Breakdown Express, Casting Networks, in Entertainment, iMovie, IMDB Pro, etc.
