Billing Coordinator Overview
- The Billing Coordinator will support the finance team by preparing and processing client invoices efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure smooth billing operations during transitional periods, collaborating with attorneys and staff.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare, review, and process client invoices following established guidelines.
- Coordinate with attorneys and staff to ensure accurate time entry and billing narratives.
- Ensure compliance with client billing requirements, including LEDES and e-billing submissions.
- Review pre-bills and assist with edits prior to final invoice submission.
- Monitor billing deadlines and follow up on outstanding items.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist with billing reports and support the accounting team as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Science (AS) degree or equivalent educational background required.
- Minimum of 3 years of billing experience, preferably in professional services or law firms.
- Familiarity with e-billing platforms and LEDES formats preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software essential for success.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with attorneys and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Preferred 5 years of experience in billing roles for enhanced expertise.
