Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Office & Operations Coordinator for a growing international fintech startup expanding its U.S. presence. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity based in New York City with a flexible/hybrid work arrangement initially, transitioning to primarily onsite work in Manhattan beginning in October. The Office & Operations Coordinator will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations and administration of a growing U.S. team.
This position will coordinate office operations, administrative functions, and people-related processes while serving as a key point of contact for international colleagues, vendors, employees, and external partners. As the organization continues to expand, this individual will also help strengthen internal processes and create efficient, consistent operational practices across the U.S. office.

- Opportunity to work closely with U.S. and international leadership while gaining broad exposure across operations, administration, people coordination, and executive support.
- Coordinate day-to-day U.S. office and regional operations, including meetings, action items, operational trackers, records, reports, and cross-functional communication.
- Oversee office administration, including workplace services, supplies, equipment, local vendors, administrative expenses, documentation, and general office logistics.
- Support recruiting and people operations, including resume screening, interview scheduling, offer coordination, onboarding/offboarding, employee records, HR trackers, and employee communications.
- Coordinate executive travel, business meetings, external engagements, visitor arrangements, company events, and related administrative logistics.
- Serve as a key point of contact between U.S. operations, international teams, employees, local service providers, vendors, and external partners.
- Help establish consistent administrative processes and identify opportunities to streamline and improve U.S. office operations as the organization grows.
- Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to independently work with English-language documents and U.S.
-based stakeholders. - Experience supporting office administration, operations, and HR/people coordination, including familiarity with recruiting coordination, employee records, office operations, and administrative processes.
- Familiarity with HR tools and systems, HRIS/ATS platforms, employee databases, or other administrative and operational software is a plus, but not required.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong execution, follow-through, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
- Must currently be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship, with a high level of professionalism, reliability, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Anticipated base salary of $52,000–$72,000 annually, along with a performance-based bonus and annual incentive.
