Location: New York

The primary function of this position is to ensure our patients receive the ultimate patient experience from the appointment request until the day of service and beyond. Respect for privacy and a love of customer service are required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all individuals entering assigned areas.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data input, emails, and patient chart management.
  • Assist patients with financial concerns and manage a high volume of calls.
  • Conduct periodic check-ins with care teams for updates and information.
  • Comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering their questions.
  • Maintain a clean reception area and ensure the accurate storage of all confidential files.
  • Coordinate and participate in patient service delivery, including check-in, check-out, and medical records management.
  • Manage the waiting process, liaising between patients, families, and office staff.
  • Answer and route phone calls on-site, depending on skill level.
  • Offer administrative support to Physicians, Practice Managers, and Clinical Teams, including:
  • Following up on emails and patient phone calls.
  • Handling medical form applications and data collection.
  • Conduct inventory assessment.
  • Attend to a 6:45 am shift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong patient service experience, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and approachable individual.
  • Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using PCs, Microsoft Office suite, and general office equipment (printers, copy machines, multi-line phones, FAX machines, etc.).
  • Experience with multiple clinical computer systems and applications preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations preferred.

Salary Range

$24 - $26 USD
