Reception

The Hamlet is seeking a qualified and experienced receptionist with a background in customer service.

• This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interactions with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.

• Must be a true team member.

• Courteously greeting visitors and directing appropriately.

• Operate the phone system and train others for relief purposes.

• Answer telephones and determine the nature of the call, directing the calls to the appropriate individual or department.

• Filing and copying documents as needed.

• Typing correspondence, written communication, and reports as needed.

• Distribute mail as directed.

• Maintain a current list of residents and their room numbers.

• Agree not to disclose the resident’s protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to your Director.

Must be able to read, write, and understand English
