Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Absolut Care of Aurora Park. As the first point of contact for our facility, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and employees. Your warm and welcoming demeanor will help create a positive atmosphere, setting the tone for the high-quality care we provide.
ResponsibilitiesGreet patients, families, and employees with a smile, and handle all incoming calls and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Manage the intake process, including verifying patient information, scheduling appointments, and updating patient records
Provide administrative support to the facility's operations, including preparation of correspondence, reports, and other documents
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including answering and directing phone calls, and receiving and distributing mail and packages
Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, as required
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
0-1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMRs)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
