Description:
K&S is seeking an experienced, highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who is able to exercise discretion when handling sensitive information and who is a consummate professional whether working with other members of the firm, vendors or clients. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our firm.
Core Duties:- Perform general office tasks, including filing, photocopying, scanning, mailing and managing documents.
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing schedules, appointments, and meetings as required, ensuring timely reminders and logistics.
- Assist with time entry and bookkeeping tasks using Clio and Quick Books software.
- Opportunity to support legal activities, including preparation of legal documents, and case management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring adherence to retention and confidentiality requirements.
- Draft and proofread emails, letters, and other communications for accuracy and clarity, maintaining a professional and respectful tone.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies, equipment, and technology to facilitate efficient operations and ensure shared spaces are neat, organized, and presentable.
- Prepare and process office-related documentation, such as contracts, agreements, and reports.
- Track office expenses and be responsible for the timely payment of expenses.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity and ease with technology.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of urgency and deadlines.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and a general can-do attitude.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to utilize computer skills including word processing, data entry, email correspondence, etc., with ease and accuracy.
- Ability to operate as a team player.
- A motivated and curious mind.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience working in a corporate environment with prior law firm experience a plus.
Commensurate with experience/$60,000 - $75,000
