Indexer / Records Analyst

Cadence Group is seeking a detail-oriented to organize, classify, and manage records while maintaining accurate databases and document inventories. The ideal candidate will support records retrieval, indexing, metadata assignment, scanning, and records disposition activities.

• Organize and sort records material as needed.
• Analyze record content, classify, and accurately index; assign meta-data and inputs in the appropriate format.
• Research questions and issues associated with the classification of information.
• Scan and import files as needed
• Maintain databases/inventory of documents
• Assist with disposition of records.
• Assist authorized individuals with locating and obtaining record materials
• Respond to requests for information about the record databases and inventory

• Must be a United States Citizen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in records management, document control, information governance, or a similar field.
• Experience with federal records management is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with document management systems and database applications
