Community Associate, Administrative​/Clerical

Under supervision with some latitude for independent action, the Community Associate for the Lead Hazard Control Department (Abatement) unit responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide and improve community services by performing liaison function including, improving communication between City agencies, community organizations and groups, and the individuals they represent and service.
• Perform difficult and responsible clerical operations.
• Perform daily data entry tasks in Maximo.
• Prepare and maintain records, written reports, daily and monthly statistics.
• Provide administrative support to the unit as appropriate; coordinate meeting schedules and other related tasks as needed.

Qualification Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
• Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.

• Intermediate Excel skills
• Excellent & Effective communication skills
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook
• Intermediate skills Microsoft Office applications
