Banking Operation Specialist — Pay — $28/hr. on W2

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Documentation: Perform high-volume entry of financial information into mainframe and brokerage systems while maintaining precise, clear, and auditable case notes.
  • Transaction Coordination: Liaise with front-office personnel to coordinate and track cash and security transfers, asset movements, fund/model changes, liquidations, and account terminations.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and analyze operational reports and system documents for accuracy, escalating gaps or anomalies to the appropriate teams to mitigate monetary, regulatory, and reputational risk.
  • Stakeholder

    Collaboration:

    Build and maintain strong working partnerships with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Trust Officers, Legal, Tax, and external vendors.
  • Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks during daily activities and propose solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Core Administrative

    Skills:

    Proven typing speed and accuracy, along with strong data entry skills.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: Ability to identify errors in detailed documentation and maintain impeccable records.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-departmental coordination.
  • Agility & Organization: Exceptional planning, prioritization, and time-management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and the ability to quickly learn proprietary mainframe and brokerage databases.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
  • Previous exposure to banking, brokerage operations, trust services, or securities products is a plus but not required.
