Lead Car Honda Yorkville is seeking a dynamic and experienced New Car Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive exceptional results at our Yorkville, NY dealership. This critical role involves managing daily sales operations, coaching and motivating the sales staff, and ensuring outstanding customer experience that aligns with our brand s high standards.
EarningsPotential
- Salary range: $85,000 – $100,000 annually
, plus performance-based bonuses, commissions for eligible roles, and a competitive benefits package.
- Oversee and manage the new car sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performance sales organization through hands-on coaching, daily training, role-play, and continuous professional development. This includes establishing clear performance standards, expectations, and KPIs, and support accountability through consistent monitoring and feedback
- Recruit top sales talent and create a culture of accountability, urgency, and customer-first execution
- Develop and implement aggressive yet achievable and effective strategies to maximize sales revenue and grow market share.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and motivation to sales representatives to enhance their performance.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Leverage Vin Solutions and other CRM tools to drive disciplined follow-up, pipeline management, and data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with other dealership departments to ensure seamless operations and superior customer service.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local vehicle sales regulations while maintaining an efficient, ethical sales operation
- Conduct daily inventory walks and trade evaluations to identify pricing opportunities, reconditioning needs, and merchandising improvements.
- Manage new vehicle inventory to ensure competitive market pricing, optimal turn, and alignment with wholesale market conditions.
- Structure vehicle purchase terms, payments, interest rates, and trade values in accordance with dealership guidelines and lender programs.
- Maintain strong relationships with lending partners to secure competitive financing solutions for customers.
- Coordinate and execute dealer trades to meet customer demand and inventory needs
- Recommend and manage the new-vehicle inventory mix by model, trim, color, and equipment based on market demand and sales performance.
- Lead all merchandising, advertising, and promotional strategies for the new-vehicle department, ensuring strong digital and on-lot presentation.
- Track, analyze, and optimize advertising campaigns to maximize ROI and sales effectiveness.
- Perform other leadership and operational duties as assigned to support dealership growth and performance goals.
- Minimum two years of automotive sales experience
- Proven experience in automotive sales management, preferably within a Honda dealership or similar automotive environment preferred.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, negotiation techniques, and customer relationship management.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and self-motivated work ethic.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Valid driver’s license required for essential job functions.
- Willingness to stay knowledgeable about the latest automotive products and technologies.
- Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and financial goals.
- Strong computer aptitude, including dealership management systems and Microsoft Excel.
