We are seeking experienced Automotive Technicians (A and B Level) to join a busy, well-equipped service department in Clifton Park, NY.
This role offers strong earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training, possible sign-on bonus, and clear opportunities for career advancement.
Location: Clifton Park, NY
Pay: $25.00-$40.00/hourly flat rate + production incentives and benefits/401K.
Production incentives:
- 40-44.99 hours: +$1.00/hr
- 45-49.99 hours: +$1.50/hr
- 50+ hours: +$2.00/hr
- 65+ hours: $100 bonus
Sign-on bonus available (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs in accordance with factory and dealership standards
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain required components
- Inspect vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs
- Communicate promptly with service advisors regarding additional or changed repair needs
- Document all completed and recommended repairs
- Road test vehicles as required
- Tag and retain warranty or customer-requested parts
- Stay current on manufacturer technical service bulletins
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
- Supervise apprentice technicians when assigned
- Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and work areas
- Operate tools and equipment safely and report safety concerns immediately
- Comply with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
- A-Level or B-Level Automotive Technician experience required
- Prior dealership technician experience (CDJR preferred but not required)
- ASE Certifications (preferred)
- State Vehicle Inspector Certification (preferred)
- Previous manufacturer or technician training (preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
