Automotive Service Technician

Otis Ford is seeking a skilled and motivated A/B Level Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for an experienced technician with Ford certification and strong diagnostic abilities who takes pride in quality repairs and teamwork.

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using manufacturer‑approved diagnostic tools
• Repair and maintain vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
• Test‑drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Communicate findings and additional repair needs to Service Advisors with accurate time estimates
• Complete warranty repairs in compliance with Ford manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Stay current with Ford training, technical bulletins, and evolving automotive technology

• 2+ years of professional automotive technician experience preferred
• Ford certification
• Previous Ford dealership experience preferred
• A/B level skill set, including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency using diagnostic scanners and electronic repair equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement
• Basic computer skills and strong customer service mindset
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
