Job Overview
As an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands‑on experience in one of Goodyear’s Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding customer service.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $15-$18 per hour (actual offer may vary based on experience, skills, and market). Benefits include medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, and tire discounts.
Responsibilities- Mount and balance tires.
- Perform oil changes and filter replacements.
- Conduct additional automotive preventative maintenance.
- Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
- Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
- Perform a variety of manual tasks, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information; identify problems and make decisions.
- Commitment to learning new technologies in the rapidly changing automotive industry.
- Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or previous formal automotive training.
Depending on location, stores may be open 7 days a week, including weekends and some holidays.

- Complete basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, and filter replacements.
- Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service.
- Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
- Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
